Hi, I’m Patricia — the voice behind Taking-Check.
I am a woman of faith and founder of Taking Check – a faith-driven educational platform created to help purpose driven individuals, disciples of Jesus, aspiring entrepreneurs and Christian business owners to elevate their financial wellness, thrive, build, and steward resources and impact God’s way. My mission is to help you see that wealth and impact is not a worldly privilege — it’s a Kingdom responsibility.
I created this platform as a place to think deeply, learn intentionally, and grow steadily in how we steward money, opportunity, and calling.
Through my study of biblical principles and walking with God in business and life, I’ve come to learn that true wealth, success and impact flows from obedience, integrity, and stewardship.
I believe:
- God is not opposed to wealth — He is opposed to misalignment
- Stewardship precedes increase
- Wisdom must guide ambition
- Faith and financial responsibility are meant to work together

Like many of you, I once thought faith and finances belonged in separate worlds. But God began to show me through Scripture and experience that wealth is a Kingdom tool — not a worldly thing.
I learned that true prosperity comes when we surrender our plans and invite God into every area of our business, finances, and purpose. That’s when the striving stops and grace begins.
Now, I want to help believers and purpose driven individuals discover that same balance — how to live abundantly without compromise and how to steward what God entrusts to them with excellence, peace, and impact.
So I’m the gal you can turn to when you feel you need a little pep talk on being more intentional. More intentional about your money and more intentional about your legacy.
