Why I Teach Business and Financial Intelligence From a biblical perspective
One question changed my entire life: And that was ‘Lord, why are so many Christians poor and struggling financially?’ That question led me on a journey that completely transformed me.
I’ve always been a questioner and analyzer of things. So when I gave my life to Jesus back in 2004 and I got involved in church. I found myself asking God deep questions — and one question in particular never left me.
“Lord… why are so many Christians poor?”
Because when I looked around the church I saw something that didn’t add up — I saw people who genuinely loved God, they were faithful, prayerful, devoted believers. Yet I saw them struggling. Struggling financially, living in financial hardship and living paycheck to paycheck. And to be honest, I was right there too.
I was in that same situation, living paycheck to paycheck, doing everything I knew to do, yet still things wasn’t working.
Meanwhile, I’d look outside the church and I saw people who didn’t even know God or Jesus as Lord living comfortable. They were building businesses, they had the houses, the cars and the freedom. They didn’t go to church or attend a gathering, they lived life however they wanted and they seemed to have it all together, while thriving financially.
And I couldn’t understand… how could this be?
What I Saw in the Word vs. What I Saw in Real Life
It didn’t make sense to me. Because when I opened the Bible, I read about wisdom bringing riches. About obedience producing prosperity, and about God’s desire to bless His people. I read about Abraham, King Solomon, and David — men who walked with God and were wealthy. And then Jesus Himself said, “I came that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.”
So why didn’t we, God’s people, look like the Bible we were reading?
What I saw in the world didn’t match up to what I read in the Word. It seemed like the pastors were doing well, but many of the members — myself included — were not.
Something was missing. And we were not seeing the full picture.
And I knew deep down, it couldn’t just be tithing.
That question burned in me for years. And I kept thinking it couldn’t just be about tithing. Because I saw people who tithed faithfully and yet still struggled and lived in lack. So, I started to ask. What were we missing? And I was determined to find out what it was.
The Search for God’s Financial Blueprint
So I made a decision — I was going to find the answer. That question became my quest.
I struggled, I worked, I earned money, tried to save here and there and somehow still stayed broke. But deep down, I knew something wasn’t adding up. I just couldn’t shake the conviction that God’s people were not supposed to live in lack.
So, I started to study. I started observing and looking at what successful and wealthy people were doing – both believers and nonbelievers. I read books, took courses, listened to sermons, but most importantly — I kept asking God to show me the truth. I wanted to know why they were prospering while so many Christians were struggling.
And slowly, piece by piece, the revelation came. It wasn’t just about praying for blessings it was about applying principles.
The Revelation: Kingdom Principles
So as I grew older and deeper in my walk, I realized that everything comes back to wisdom, having understanding, learning the fear of the lord , learning the Culture of the kingdom God and applying kingdom principles.
The Bible is full of principles that, when applied, leads to fruitfulness, wealth, transformation and impact. I realized the same principles that governed success in the world were actually biblical — they just don’t give God the credit for them.
Things like stewardship, sowing and reaping, discipline, diligence, planning, vision, giving and multiplying what’s in your hands — all of these are Kingdom principles.
And here’s the thing: the rich are often applying these same biblical principles, some knowing they’re from the Word of God, while others don’t even realize they are living out God’s principles in disguise. That’s when it hit me. The difference wasn’t faith — it was application.
So while many believers are praying for miracles, others are simply applying principles — and reaping the results.

Why I Teach Business and Financial Intelligence
So that’s why I do what I do today.
That’s why I teach business and financial intelligence — from a biblical and Kingdom perspective because I believe God never intended His people to live in lack or confusion.
I believe that when God’s people understand both the spiritual and the practical, that’s when true prosperity begins and we are able to unlock true wealth.
So it’s not about chasing money.
It’s about becoming wise stewards of what God has already given us.
It’s about learning the biblical principles of money and wealth building — through wisdom, obedience, and alignment with God’s ways.
When we align with God’s principles, we don’t have to chase wealth — wealth starts to follow.
When we live by Kingdom principles, we don’t just build wealth — we build legacy.
So if you’ve ever found yourself asking, “Why do Christians struggle financially?” — know this: It’s not because God wants us to. It’s because we’ve been taught faith without financial intelligence.
And it’s time we change that. Because wisdom brings wealth.
And when God’s people walk in wisdom, we become the lenders, not the borrowers. We become the ones who bless nations.
That’s why I share this — because I believe it’s time for God’s people to rise up in wisdom, wealth, and impact.
Conclusion
So my mission is simple — To help God’s people rise in wisdom, wealth, and stewardship. Wisdom brings wealth and Stewardship sustains it.
I’ve learned that faith without financial intelligence keeps us praying for what wisdom could have produced.
So I don’t share business and financial intelligence just to help people make more money — I teach it so we can become the kind of stewards God can trust with more.
Because when God’s people walk in wisdom, wealth follows — and through that wealth, the Kingdom advances.
God’s Word is full of principles for building wealth, managing it well, and multiplying it for His glory. And when we apply them we prosper.
So if this resonated with you, I invite you to be a part of a growing community of Kingdom-minded believers who are learning how to apply biblical wisdom to their business, finances, and life.
